Brief: Produce an emotional response to Mon Oncle

Comments: There were three films to choose from, I chose Mon Oncle as it was very quaint and quite slapstick. It’s a French film and I wanted to get that into the piece – the lamb is a representation of myself and my emotions and thoughts towards the film are extruding from my head.

Comments: MouseDuck. That is all.

Comments: First attempt, this was a personal image that I really wanted to try out. I’ve seen these type of ‘vector girls’ around and I really like the style, so I decided to give it a go for myself.

Client: The Garden Gastropub

Brief: Design a menu to match the ethos of the venue.

Comments: The stripes incorporated are used throughout the venue. The interior is more of an up-market pub so I added a subtle pattern to the background creating a feel of luxury throughout the menu.

Client: Venture Consulting

Brief: Bring the website and brand into the 21st century.

Comments: I kept it very simple and typographic, keeping to black and green. I designed a pair of hands shaking in a circle for the ‘o’ in Consulting for the logo and kept the rest of it as simple type to keep with the overall style.

Client: GridIron Systems.

Brief: Design a corporate.

Comments: A bold, yet simplistic logo combining the strength and speed of the cheetah into the professionalism of a trust worthy business.

Client: NHS (university).

Brief: Encourage breast feeding among mothers as the healthier option for their baby.

Comments: The idea behind this campaign was to cut out the facts and figures of bottle vs. breast and make clear the single most important fact. Breast feeding is natural. No artificial ingredients.

This was going to be one of a series of posters with different stamps at the bottom. Where this one displays “No artificial ingredients” the others would have “no added sugar”, “free from nuts”, the vegetarian symbol and others that you would normally find on packaged food products.

Comments: There are a lot of Photoshop videos where fat women are made thinner, but what about making thin fat?

This is a quick demonstration of the effects that can be achieved using Photoshop to manipulate the human form.

Please be aware that this was just a quickie project, as you’ll notice on the video there can be much more done in terms of fine details such as the shading, blending and just generally ironing out all the fine details.

Comments: A video I made to show the effects of using the Liquify, Burn, Clone and Patch tool to transform this innocent girl into a vampire then adjusting the Curves to finalise the piece.
