I made a wallpaper, but i’m not sure why or what’s going on. All images were taken with the Olympus PEN.
IF you happen to like it, go ahead and click the image below for the full sized image.
I’m getting a new bike. I tried the fold up one, which, around High Wycombe, is really bad due to it’s small wheels and the steepness of the hills around this area.
I looked into bike and being more into BMXs than big boy bikes with gears and all that jazz, I decided on a bigger version of a BMX without gears. The Mongoose Maurice. It’s a fixed wheel or freewheel bike (flipflop rear wheel hub), so I think i’m going to try out the fixed wheel for a bit and see if it’s time to lose the breaks or keep the coasting. That’s one of the main selling points to me on this bike – that it has the option for both types of riding and it doesn’t have gears that I have to keep tweaking so they don’t slip out and all the nonsense that comes along with them.
I must say though, even though the bike is now ordered and hopefully should be here this week… Evans Cycles had no part in making this happen due to the fuck up on their website with the stock control. When I ordered the bike it was “In Stock” (5-7 working days delivery), but as it happens, the bike wasn’t really in stock so I would have had to wait 10-14 days for the delivery to the warehouse from the manufacturers, then the usual 5-7 to get to me. I did call them up about it and they were really helpful (cheers David) and I got a refund hassle free, that is, after I found out the bike shop down the road (FreeWheelin’) could get it in a couple of days in the size I need it etc. etc.
Enough of the jibber jabber; here’s my new whip.

Allow me to introduce an new type of animal. The Vacheval. It’s a cross between a Cow and a Horse and kinda looks like a really, really sad cow (because of it’s long face!).
Recently discovered and previously before unseen footage from Belgique Television from the 1960s introduces us to this revolutionary genetic masterpiece. They are educated, groomed and given an amazing lifestyle all in the name of being Eco friendly.
That’s right, these animals were reared for the sole purpose of being a CO2 friendly form of transportation due to the modern transportation at that time being such a pollutant to our planet.
Alain du Monde, an eco extraordinaire who worked for Belgique Television at that time, recalls the Vacheval; “The Vacheval were magnifique, they were not only eco but they were chic too, those behind the Vacheval were clearly visionary in recognising the future environmental issues facing man-kind” he says.
The whereabouts of these animals are unknown, but rumour have been speculated that they’re either chillaxin’ in the Apls, or migrating to Europe in search of work.
Thought I might as well throw this up as well. It’s what we believe Norman Hurtz actually looks like.

Yea, i’m not really sure where I was going with this. Nevertheless, it is a doodle and it will be categorised as such.

A lovely day to feed the Geese, today.

Except for an ominous looking crow.
This crow is epic. After watching me for at least 20 minutes hand feeding the Geese out of a Kingsmill 50/50 bread bag, this crow decides to come into the house and help it self when no one watching. Needless to say, I heard this, ran in the other room and it flew away.
I closed the door.
It came back and tried to peck through the window.

Long story short, I wanted this crow on film. So I opened up the door and hid with the bread in plain sight. The video is 480p and was filmed on my Olympus E-PL1. It would have been 720p but because of a bad internet speed, it wasn’t feasible for me to upload such a massive file, so it had to be compressed.
My mum gave me a photo of my grandparents to fix. The photo is very old with a few tears in it, but alas, after some photoshopping and facial reconstruction surgery, I fixed it up pretty good.

Here’s my second attempt at trying to create something epic. It’s so much better than my first attempt (obviously). I just tried out some different camera angles, depth of fields and zooming during filming. Considering that there was no after effects added (minus sound), I think it’s awesome.
Here’s my first attempt at stop motion with the Olympus E-PL1.
It’s quite jerky, I would have liked it smoother, but that would be due to me firstly not taking enough pictures, and secondly, not taking enough care to not jog the camera.
I’m just going to come right out and say it. I want this. Screw your iPad and iPhone 4. I want a brass mother fucking maze, on the inside of my mother fucking door.
