After getting into photography due to my new camera, I did some research on the internet and come across a marvelous photographer, Matt Stuart, who takes the most amazingly coincidental pictures, some of which are actually really funny so be sure to look at his work.

I got a new camera, the Olympus PEN E-PL1. It’s super dope.

I got it due to a burglary at my parents house in which an old film SLR and a video camera (amongst other things like a car) got stolen. Thieving cunts, right? Anyway, as they stole that along paired with the fact that no one used the cameras for a few years anyway, I decided to ask for a camera that would actually be used, by me.
When I first got it I was playing around with it, as you do, and I was neglecting the ‘ART’ setting because I never use them as they’re normally quite shitty. I tried it out last night and some of the settings are fantastic. The two setting I use from there (which can also be used with the video recorder in 720p) are Grainy B&W and Diorama AKA Tilt-Shift as the shots are really, really nice.

They look better big so check out my Olympus PEN E-PL1 set that I’ve set up on my Flickr account, it’s linked with my iPhoto so the set will be constantly updated, if you’re interested.

I’m not really sure what this is or what it does. But I drew it and now I kind of want to see what it’ll be like as an actual animal… more than likely is that I’m gonna make this thing real in Photoshop, because that’s just how I roll.

Their new advert, when I first saw it (the long version) on TV, I was mesmerised and I found myself being touched. I didn’t cry, but I had a lump in my throat as it is VERY touching and insightful into how short life is and all the usual soppy messages about love, life, friends etc that get thrown in…
However my irish good friend Jess pointed out this advert to me and it’s just ruined the whole thing. Cheating cop outs.

I gave in to the craving for a new Apple product so I decided to get my very own iPad. So far so good, does everything I want it to do. This might actually replace my laptop!

Due to the sem-loss of my websites, I decided to get on Flickr so save my photos as I know they won’t be deleted in the flick of a switch.
Here’s my Flickr account, I’m not fully clued up yet on all it’s features so I’ve still got a lot of fanny-assing around to do with it.

As of last night, my current hosting suspended my account as I was getting too much traffic to The Cheese Grater (over 115k unique visitors and over 450k pageviews a month) so as of today I am looking for a new host that can support the site at it’s current size with room for more traffic, however, in an attempt to avoid the account getting suspended and ALL of my websites coming down The Cheese Grater will have very limited if any usage until I can get a plan together for execution and hopefully save the site.
Fingers crossed this situation will be sorted out and thank you to the vast community of people who have been with us from the start, during the many face changes and the challenges until now.

Yes. They’re awesome, I don’t tend to put un-awesome stuff on here. But they’re not only awesome, they’re gruesome and most importantly THEY ARE GENIUS! Here are only a couple of pictures, check out the rest of the range here.
